Hey all my LB has been getting pancaked more than I would like. Is it a strength issue? Please help

Yes strength is the issue. But I'd go with more agility to avoid the block.

I'm new to the game but I would say your LB is pretty fast but not real strong, for the position.

I don't think its totally a Strength issue. With my old LB, when I took Strength from 60 to 68 there was a huge drop in my reverse pancakes. This may sound stupid but why don't you try training Strength/Blocking and see if that helps you.

Then build it up by buying two pieces of AE with Shed block as the base attribute. at lvl 54 you should get at least 8 to 10 in shed block then

I think it's a hidden attribute. Your LB just likes being under OL. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I know I am pretty new to this game but I read in one of the build guides that Blocking under Football Skills helps beat blocks as well. You all would likely know better than I if that were the case though.

Strength is not really the issue. You're going to get pancaked a bit regardless, unless you bring it up to 90. Try third capping vision and then get 4 in shed blocks.

Strength is the issue. At your level you are playing with OL with str 100+. On the first blocking roll it compares the blockers str and blocking vs your str. Your ass gets pancaked if you loose. High agility will not help you. Look at all the OT that lead the league in pancakes. It's because of the high agility, low str, DE's out there.

Strength is the issue. Get it into the 80's and you will not get pancaked as often. Keep in mind, being MLB, you will blitz often. That's going to be putting you against guards and centers with high str.

Also, ask your team owner how your morale is in the summary tab after your games. If your morale is low, you will get pancaked more often. I think your Confidence is pretty good. However, it's something to consider if you decide to stay with the relatively low STR (low compared to OL).
