-If either team is going to make a run for the playoffs, it needs to start here. The season premiere of the Heroes is just two days away. Heroes by 10.
Tongduchon Cowboys at Chiang Mai Gangsters
-Might want to watch Nascar instead. Cowboys by 14.
Portland Dirty Penguins at D League Ligers
-I think the Penguins are for real. How many teams can these little birds waddle up on before they get noticed? Penguins by 17.
Bali Insurrection at Lea Lea Furniture
-Another pair of teams that need to get out quickly if they want to be in the playoff hunt at the end. Lea Lea throws them a chair. Furniture by 7.
Anchorage Northern Lights at Myanmar Military Junta
-One of the better opening day matchups. The Lights are just a little to bright for the Junta. Lights by 6.
Beijing Black Dragons at Padang Orangutans
-Dragons much better at this point in the season. Orangutans are still primping each other after a long offseason nap. Dragons by 20.
Cambodia Mountain Men at Sumatra Sting
-Definitely the game of the week. Both will contend for division titles. I got to go gameplan, in the meantime: Homer pick. Mountain Men by 3.
Rangoon Flying Tigers at Tet Offensive
-One of the rookies tries to make its mark. It's a bit offensive, but is is a mark. Tet by 10.
Batdambang Killer Koalas at Bacolod Skullcrushers
-Won't be much of a challenge for an early Garuda favorite. Bugs Bunny made a better Crusher than these guys. Koalas by 28.
Bangkok Bangers at Da Nang Armageddon
-Another good Garuda team with a mismatch. It ain't the end of the world, but a slow start at the Pro level for the Armageddon. Bangers by 21.
Vietnamese Sweatshop at Krungthep Garudas
-Naga gets the mismatch this time. The Garudas show no sympathy for the under-paid, over-worked Vietnamese. Garudas by 21.
Buffalo Rampage at Manila Warlords
-Too potential heavyweights square off early. The Rampage plans a rough "Welcome back" party for the Warlords. Rampage by 6.
Bangalore Monsoon at Mekong Delta Force
-The Monsoon comes to the Delta. Shouldn't be much fear in the hearts of the Force this week. Force by 20.
West Indies Warriors at Palembang Drunken Monks
-It's always enjoyable to watch Drunken Monks fight. The Warriors get caught up in the liquor. Monks by 6.
Oakland Naughty Ottsel at Ujung Pandang Warriors
-An otter or a weasel? Damn crossbreeds, don't bring your kind up here!! Warriors by 14.
Arrowhead Fanatics at Winona Warriors
-Another good opening day matchup. Fanatics can make a statement and quiet the Winona squad for awhile with a win. We'd all appreciate that. Fanatics by 7.
13-3 on opening day. I'll take it. But the Orangutans, Junta, and Ottsels all move up a notch in my book by making me look silly.
