shedblock can work on any pass rushing setting. It essentially gives your player a higher break block %. Obviously it's more effective on evasive, but it can work on power too.

Shed Block increases your break block percentage, but usually they are more effective with evasive because people usually have 90+ ability (versus 90+ strength.)
Anyway, Shed Block is one of those ability that you won't regret getting as much as possible, just not at the expense of FS and TV.
