Before I begin, I'd like to thank all the people who have taken part in this poll all season long. It's really been fun to run it this season (I like the every 4 game system!) and the Google Docs spreadsheet system worked out really well for all parties involved, I think. I'll gladly continue running these next season, and it will be nice to get some new faces in on the poll (thank god evileyez is probably leaving to World League )

If for some reason I'm not in EEPL on any team next season (shouldn't be the case, but you never know with GLB offseasons), I'll gladly show someone else how I manage the Google Doc and hopefully we can keep this poll going as I think it helps set us apart from the other Pro Leagues in a good fashion.

Now, onto our predictions!

---

1. Hellas Hoplites VS 6. Lafayette Ragin Cajuns

comeasur337 - LRC's great run through the playoffs has been exciting to follow, and this title game should be no different. Hellas has been the model of consistency all season, while LRC has been the exact opposite, but I have no doubt that both teams will bring their best game to the table. The talent edge goes to Hellas here pretty easily, with their incredible ST unit and depth all around. LRC has the momentum and more big game experience however, knocking off the 2 and 3 seeds already this season, and plenty of great results in past seasons. As much as I'd like to keep picking LRC, I just can't, and I think they'll fall just short. Hellas 38 - Lafayette 31 in Overtime.

mike2686 - Hellas has been very impressive all season long. They are coming off of a thrashing of the #4 seed Buffalo Warzone beating them by 31 points in a game that wasn't even that close. Hellas Defense held Buffalo scoreless until late in the 4th Quarter. Hellas looks well on its way to the conference title. LRC has been impressive as of late. Between the midseason surge and 2 great wins in the playoffs this team looks extremely dangerous. LRC has been winning but not dominating. I don't think there is a better story then LRC's but it ends here. Hellas wins the Silver and advances to the League Title and World league. Hellas- 38 LRC- 17

evileyez - While this isn't the 1 vs 2, it's not 1 vs 6 either. It is fitting that these two heavyweights are matching up for silver. LRC is the one team that we did not want to face. While Hellas was pinned as the team to beat earlier on, no one was really sure how good or how bad LRC was as they stumbled out of the gate. The vet agents in EEPL knew better and warned the new guys to not be so fast in writing off the dinosaurs. Hellas thumped LRC in the final game of the season, a game that meant nothing to Hellas while LRC was playing for seeding - seeding where if they had won would have put them in Hellas bracket.

Both teams have great returners though Miller Miller takes the head to head. Both teams have great offenses. Both teams have great defenses. Both teams have great dots. Both teams have great tactics. Perhaps other teams have been waiting for Hellas to stumble, just as those same teams waited for the real Cajuns to show. Well, the Cajuns are here and they are for real. But Hellas hasn't missed a beat and consistency is a pretty telling stat in the sim. Great game from two great teams.

I just checked my bank account and Bort has cashed our check. Hellas by 13.

Real LT - The Hoplites have been the class of Zeta all season. Just too tough for a very good and resurgent LRC team. Hellas Hoplites by 17+.

millertime31 - The game I wanted to see, two "old school" teams battling for the Zeta crown. While Hellas jumped right out of the gate and never looked back, LRC came from way behind and showed everyone that they still have their mojo. It would be LRCs turn to grab that trophy, but I think Hellas is just too good this year and will be a well deserved champion. If LRC can make a momentum play, like a Miller Miller fumble returned for a TD right on kickoff , anything can happen. Hellas by 14

Damn we got no love at all! I can see why though Hellas looked unstoppable this season I think it helped that DLDT Gped against them earlier in the season so I had an idea of what I wanted to do.
