Probably not, our new owner is an asshole. He doesn't want to trade anybody.

I can't really blame him for wanting to hold onto what is left over. If he is being a jerk about it, though, that would be too bad. I hope there is something they can do about ownership transfer at some point that is a little better for all around. It stinks for the players to risk having to play for a jerk owner, and it stinks for the owners having to start with a team on which the starters have been given their release. I don't blame LilDawg, since he left for good reasons. And he did what he thought was best for his players. It's a tough situation.
On one hand, this is an RPG/Sim and in real life, players have to deal with whatever ownership they have and owners have to deal with whatever players they have when they buy a team. But, most on here are paying money to do this, so it's a fine line.
The best thing for everyone is an owner who is able to stick with it for all four seasons. Of course, real life has a way of intruding on that.

I think the best thing the new owner can do is sell them and replace them. If they don't want to be in the team than fine, trade them and get money. I mean.... when you buy a team you get nothing but CPU's, at least he got players and in good economic state. If I was in his position I would sell Homie, and Reppins players and get around 1.5mill for them. With that money I would just replace them and get depth. Once the first day of the season comes and he gets all that money he can spend some big money around and shop for some players.
