Against the advice of many, I didn't COMPLETELY mold my guy into a one-or-the-other build mold for my TE--he's PRIMARILY a blocking TE, but I put enough points into catching that he's not a drop-monger.

But its so damn boring having a blocking-oriented TE. Take a look at his specs and tell me whether I'm right in my inclination to retire him. Btw, the specs are "with equipment"--all of it has been put into "Speed" at the moment. I didn't bother with CE because I knew going in that I was going to go slightly against the common wisdom with his build and didn't want to invest the 900 flex until I got some idea of how it was going to turn out.

you build is save-able if you dont want to delete him yet.. try making him into a YAC te... high strength and carrying. so you can bowl people over. max out bruzier and yac VA's. your guy would be ideal for short catches and bowling people over for first downs. only problem is that your build will need more speed and agility to get open. try to get each to 68. split equipment into speed and agility. that may be an option. i have both a blocking te and a speed te. i agree with you its boring to watch my blocking te.
