I like strength to 68 and soft cap agility, blocking and speed. I am been getting a lot more pancakes lately... but eventually I want to convert him into a goalline back

You only need enough strength to block... you can never have too much maneuverability though. Agility is generally more important for a blocker. Just look at most OL, many take agility to 73+ these days. While OL take strength as high or higher than agility, they face DL on a consistent basis... FBs face LBs in most situations and LBs are typically weaker than DL.

I'm making a pure blocking FB for the first time now- is agility more important than blocking too? Or is it blocking-agility-strength?

Having it higher is nice, but it's overkill much of the time. 68 would be the target number with little or no lead block. When I say 60 or 68, I really mean 60 or 68 plus automatic level increases from around level 25-30 on... so more like somewhere in the range of mid 60's to mid 70's realistically. You could actually survive with less, but as a blocking build, it's not like you can't afford to take blocking to these levels rather effortlessly.

Those points saved are much better spent on agility/strength/speed IMHO. My ROT has ~78 blocking and he has little trouble locking down 100+ agility DEs... having 60-65 blocking is plenty to keep a 70-80 agility LB in check, as the HB runs past. My offensive/balanced FB has like 57 blocking and rarely has any issues when asked to block.

I would honestly say that strength and agility are of equal importance but you should take care of strength/blocking first before moving onto agility. Simply because of training combos and chains. Going that way leads to a perfectly build FB if you plan it right.

Here's what you'll look like around lvl 32ish if you do it right... hell could even be better. I didn't do my best here. (without equip)

With how much the blocking tree SAs suck balls, I would even be inclined to take strength 73 naturally right off the bat... this will give you ~85 natural strength by the time you hit your mid 40's. I would just not take any blocking tree SAs and jack my attributes up to crazy high levels.

I concur with taking strength to 73. Looking back now... I wish I did. But then again... I'll be able to hit 77 speed sooner and I can cap stamina/vision/confidence soon thereafter. Really a tossup... but strength to 73 is definitely a good option.

My FB has 73 strength/blocking and 82 speed/agility I am working towards 75 strength/blocking and 90 speed/agility. I do not know what is the best but that is what I am aiming for.

I would say agility, but still prefer different build for blocking inside and outside.

I think they're saying its strength-agility-blocking.
