This WR has 1 in HF and 0 in quick feet

This WR has 10 in HF and 10 in quick feet

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1102372

Both have +fake % AEQ with WR 1 having 13% and WR 2 having 11%. WR 1 definitely has a much better build as WR 2 was just built to test having high HF. Both have very similiar vision and WR 2 has more carrying and also has a little more agility. I see more fakes put on by WR 1 than I do from WR 2 even though WR 1 has 1 in HF and WR 2 has 10 in HF. WR 2 also does more of the wasted dancing around when running routes. Both are running on creative/super elusive. WR 1 has alot more FS and WR 2 has more QC.

So WR 2 has more HF by 9, 10 quick feet VA compared to 0, more agility, more vision, more carrying, more quick cut, yet I see more fakes out of WR 1. Why would this be?

Which also leads me to the question, are there fakes other than HF and Juke? If you had 0 in both of these could you still fake out your defender? If so does +fake % help out these other fakes?

I'm beggining to wonder if HF is worth anything.

(Note: I'm not going by #s because WR 1 has a better build than WR 2, I'm just going by watching them I see WR 1 with more fakes than WR 2)

i can tell you that upping HF increased my route running abilities quite a bit and got me the separation i needed quote often.

I believe in HF, but I think it won't pay off in a build til around level 55 when agility, vision, and other things are up higher.

About 11 less than WR 2.

Does your running style affect fake moves? Are both WR running on the same setting?

That is, would you have to set your WR to 99 elusive to get more fakes?
Or is elusive running purely for after the catch?

Both set to the same.

No offense to anyone's player, you may just be on a heavy run team, but everytime I see someone saying good things about HF and I check their WRs they are always putting up mediocre numbers. They can show me some replays where it works but their overall numbers are usually meh.

My WR's numbers are fine. He's a slot receiver so he doesn't get as many opportunities as a starter, but I built him to be a slot receiver.

Not to mention two other receivers on the team have over 1000 yards. If you ignore HBs, my receiver is doing quite well for being the 3rd WR option on an AAA team. Unlike a lot of Agents, I made sure to put myself with 2 well built WRs so to compliment them rather than go for stats. I've already put up over 1000 yards in Pro as well as AAA before, it doesn't matter to me.

Furthermore, I get open on HFs on routes in which I'm not thrown at either because of vision fails or the fact that another WR simply gets more open. Every game HF plays a part, though the last couple games our OC fucked with the gameplan and DC and learned his lesson on that one. I hope.

Not everyone is meant to be a 1500 yard receiver. The GLB community needs is Donald Drivers, Wes Welkers, and Brandon Stokleys

HF does improve separation, but at lower levels your points are probably more well spent increasing stats.
