I'm getting conflicting reports here...

Two best teams in CPL, or not even two best teams in their conference?

Well that was definitely not what anyone was expecting.

Here was the turning point of the game imo:

First drive, they march down the field, stall out a bit and go for it on 4th and short. The Matadors D holds!

I think if you kick that FG, it's a different game. The morale hits for not making a 4th and short is way way astronomical...too astronomical really.

Well fought game rock, ep and crew ....i bet we square off again in the playoffs.

I think the turning points were the first two drives of the game, and the key difference in each one. In our first drive, we moved the ball pretty well, but we tried for what is usually a gimme 4th down conversion and you guys stuffed it.

On your drive, we got you to 4th and 2, and 3rd and 11+, and you converted both times. Had we scored a TD on the opening drive and held you guys to a field goal or a punt, i think we would have had a much better game on our hands.

But that, to me, illustrates the way the game went overall.

Also, you guys lost three fumbles, and we didn't convert ANY to points, whereas we lost a fumble and threw a pick, and you guys scored off both of our turnovers.

I feel like it should have been a much closer game, but it didn't go our way, and most of the credit has to go to you guys.
