I was watching a game for one of my players and noticed a jumping catch attempt in the PBP. Is this a new feature or just the first time I ever noticed it? I'm wondering because I have a WR with about 7 in jump catch and have not noticed it fire at all.

Here is the play

My WR with high JC and DC hasn't shown any attempts or completed JCs or DCs. What is up with that!

I know. This is the only jumping catch that I have seen in the PBP and it was by a lvl 8 HB. I was hoping it was just recently made towards you can see when it happens in the PBP. I was also thinking that it could only show up if it fails. I believe one other SA (cant remember which) only showed in the PBP when it failed.

Still anyone else seen this in the PBP recently. Is it a new feature?

- Jumping, diving, and low catches show up in replays now

In my opinion, the only reason you saw it is because it was an inaccurate level 7 QB passing the ball. I think these days most higher level QBs are too accurate in GLB so the WR doesn't need to jump or dive for the ball.

I remember seasons ago when you would occasionally see WRs making 1 handed catches and stuff, but in the past few seasons I haven't really seen anything that looks like a WR catching an out of range ball.

Or it could be that your need 68 vision/jumping to even make the attempt at a bad pass.

If what you are saying is true about QB accuracy, it makes the possession tree worthless, but I already kind of felt that way as my low level will avoid it completely.

RR and sticky hands are useful, the rest are worthless.

Thanks Viscount. I didnt check that far back. I was hoping it was a much more recent change, explaining why it was the first one I'd seen.
