I just bought my first piece of AEQ for my MLB. Do I sell my standard eq? Do I lose those eq points from the standard eq? I have never done this I am pretty new to this game, looking for help.

If you need the cash and think you'll never find a better piece of AEQ, sell the standard. If your team will pay for the upgrade, hold on to it. That way if you find a better piece for a different slot, you can switch back to the standard and sell the upgraded AEQ to get tokens back.

Upgrade the AEQ piece (preferrably with team cash, equip that, then sell the standard.
