My CB's are tending to play too far back even on deep routes. I have them set to 1 yard for man coverage distance and medium for coverage style, but there still seems to be a 2-3 yard cushion on some longer routes. Does aggressiveness affect how they cover or is that just for blitzing? Would I be able to correct my issue just having them play semi-aggressive on the coverage?

This is for a casual league with the basic AI. Thanks.

The benefits to aggressive coverage out weight the negatives. I would have them all set to closest possible and then semi unless you really want your corners to aggressively go after the ball.

Some teams go aggressive on their CB's and let the safety's play semi with a yard cushion but then TE's can have a field day.

tell him if he doesnt play closer you'll trade him to the browns
