In the Week 8 post it calculated you would score 472 points over your final eight games. In today's revision...it anticipates you'll score 675 points over the final eight games...an increase of 203 points.
This is the part that I think is wacky. Where is this projected scoring increase coming from?
A further part that's funny... our projected PA for the season went up in today's revision too.
Part of your expected increase is due to your next opponent. Indy Horse!! threw in the towel and each subsequent week, more points are being scored against them. Tradewest has surrendered 56 & 51 points in successive weeks...that factors into the equation.
As far as points against, the same applies. You're expected to surrender three to Indy in your next game. If you shut them down, the points your expected to give up the rest of the way will also drop. Yet, if they manage a touchdown...you'll be expected to give up even more.
Makes sense, and the explained effect is certainly apparent after the week 9 results.
