Has anyone compiled anything about what it takes to hit a 30-39 yarder, then a 40-49, etc?

I have a rookie Kicker and I'm just interested as to what it takes to increase the yardage.

To be honest, no one really knows since there aren't replays for field goals. If you don't know the reason for the miss, then it's difficult to adjust your build. It's fairly easy to nail FGs under 40 yards though. It takes a combo of all the skills that are discussed in this forum and you are really left with how to build.

you can hit 55yd FGs with less than 30 str.

With less than 30str you can be pretty much automatic from under 50.

In one of these threads in here, someone said STRENGTH was primarily for Kick Offs.

My kicker was money for the most part under 40, and sucked over 40 until I capped his str, then he started hitting everything more consistently.

But I've seen kickers with 20 str hit consistently under 50.
