With people using a 2 qb system is tehre anyone to gameplan vs a rushing qb and a throwing one?

as discussed over in the spy man thread, spying the QB could help....but generally speaking your spy will try to line up over top him and there by take poor angles to get the tackle.

perhaps sliding like your SS back like 8 yards from the line of scrimmage might help

Set up your safeties to blitz from the edges with the DPC.

a lot of the time they will run right into the halfback or fullback that lead blocks though

when u make custom d plays to blitz ur safety how do u get the play to get called. i though i had a gameplan to stop a rushing qb my last game and the custom plays i created didnt get used once and he ran for +300 yds

In that case it probably has more to do with builds or not setting the safeties far enough outside.

There must have been an issue with your DAI. You have to make sure you have the custom plays set up as an output and set the appropriate percentage for it.

in both 3-4 or 4-3 cheat the rolb up closer to the line of scrimmage and outside the de as far as it allows you and have him cover zone weakside flats, fs under middle weak fifth cheat the strong safety toward the line of scrimmage and blitz him. its always worked shutting down the qb runs for our team. they may break one now and then but for the most part is very effective

Watch this game, http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=738441 , especially when Cedric Cobbs #4 runs the ball from the QB position...total shut down.

Generally when there is a rushing QB involved they have him rush in 1 or 2 sets. Gameplan from his previous couple of games to see what sets they are running the QB out of and adjust those slightly to stop him. IE: Blitzing the CB each time in specific sets etc.

We did that here. http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=750781

We blitzed our CB and totally shut him down. 28 carries for- 27 yards. He had a bunch of 200+ Yard games last season because no one set themselves up to stop him properly.
