Anyone else noticed a performance difference in how your team plays when you have a scrimmage and regular season game in the same day? I have noticed some elite teams go down in the regular season after having a tough scrimmage before. I thought last season I was a victim of this a once or twice - could just be my head screwing with me after watching the dots for so long.

This is also vice versa, I notice it after playing a regular season game and then a scrimmage later that night.

I was told energy and moral isn't effected in your regular season vs having scrimmages.

I've always had my doubts about it (but its not 'supposed' to affect it), and I doubt have any proof (but I've noticed if we've just played a game and the other team has had 24 hours of we don't seem quite as strong [we don't lose, but we just seem a lil lackluster out there].

But hey, we've been assured countless times that it absolutely positively does not do anything!!! [so it either doesn't and we're crazy [scary], it does and they lied to us [annoying], it does but they don't know it does [really scary]]

I used to think it did but in season 9, we had many game day and scrimmage day games and it had no effect. I think the difference is the team your playing can see what you ran the game earlier and they count on you not changing your tactics and they defend what you sis in the earlier game. That's how I see it anyways.

I've taken it similarly: when a regular game and a scrimmage are played close together you're normally running AI slanted towards one of the match-ups more than the other. Also, as LE said, there is better film on what you're doing.
