In my opinion HF/Juke kind of suck at the moment for WR.

My one guy that stocked up on Juke & Fake Chance AEQ, as well as Clever Instincts and Quick Feet hasn't been that effective. I will say that it does work from the standpoint of freezing the CB. However, it doesn't usually get you really wide open, other than on short crossing routes.

Longer routes give the CB time to recover from the fake. Additionally, the point where the CB gets faked is often still in the general path of where the ball will go to the WR, making recovery even easier. On top of all that, the longer routes are pretty easy to get help on with guys that have Zone Spec and Ball Hawk.

And then, if you do catch the ball there's often not enough space between you and the defender to execute a fake.

Lol statement.

Works great for me.

Your catching is very low (<40).
What do you have in juke?

I'm working on this WR as a test build, so far he's no good.

He also has +fake AEQ.

and I'm a much slower receiver than you, so you don't need to be really high in speed either.

I know his catching is real low, I built him as a test build, not to be good. Just from watching his games though I see very few fakes put on the defense.

Isn't confidence a pretty big factor in pulling fake moves?

But, isn't catching involved in determining looks from your QB? He might be getting open, but your QB is smart enough not to throw it to someone that cannot catch.

half of y'all are posting pump fakes....if the cb freezes on the cut, it was a WR fake...if he does something funky in the middle of the route it was a pump fake.

it's working fine for my WR.

Well, your team runs a lot of medium and long pass plays, which might not give your WR the right routes to use fakes, especially if the receiver is just running a fly pattern.

On top of that, the TE and 2 RBs have accounted for 85/205 completions, or 41% of the completed passes. Your WR has 21 receptions, or 10%. Now, a closer look reveals that the 2 HBs on the team are owned by your OC. So, good luck with that. 8)

Though it won't happen, if you remained under level 31 going into season 12, I would recruit you for our Red Ravens and experiment with that build.
