The next game was against Woodys. A new AI from a new team member was loaded, but someone forgot to check that the custom DC slots matched up.
As a result, we pounded the ball inside with our speedy back, using our speedy TE to block (or try to). I think he fumbled it three times. Our slow as molasses powerbacks and blocking TE got asked to go out and run pass routes and combined for a whopping 1 reception. And our blocking FBs even got in on the act, running short routes meant for Blazing and catching 4 passes for a combined 4 yards.
The Alpine loss was just a loss. Well...we didn't kick a FG with 2:36 remaining and down 1 from their 26.5 yard line and turned it over on downs instead. But not a major OOPS like the other three games.
I was just trying to give people opportunity to make fun of me with that original statement, we didn't need all of this Duff. :hot:

Seriously though, I think there are occasional Bort bugs with the AI. I have seen the order of plays be re-arranged when you swap between one saved setting and another, so it wouldn't surprise me if a bug caused the box to get cleared.

Took me almost an hour to fix the Lincoln DAI before the OFG game. I kept getting duped inputs each time I'd save the AI. Then I started getting dupes and my inputs were getting reordered.
Thankfully it stopped happening and I was able to get it cleaned up.
