I find it kind of redundant that there is a tourney this season....most of the top teams are in the Gold League, and I would bet that the winner will come from there anyway.
The redundancy must be in honor of DoRD's victory last year.

The Golds are going to be busy trying to stay in Gold. I'm guessing quite a few boost early just to stay in it. On the other hand, those early boosters might have a decent shot at knocking out the non-boosters (I know, DoRD didn't boost), but the earlier the game is in the season, the more early boosting matters.

The Golds don't have anything to prove by playing you. Gold is the tourney this season.
I doubt anyone's boosting strategy will change - CEP will still wait until the end of the season, and I expect SBWL will still boost in 1/3s.

This is what I was saying, the Gold's have tough games everyday and probably won't be paying attention to tournaments.
