How much is needed for a Kicker? I am wondering on what to do with my boost SP's. My Kicker's build is

73+ Strength
90+ Confidence
110ish Kicking
68+ Vision
48+ Agility

7-8-9 SA's

I'm a fan of keeping Strength, Vision, and Agility the same. Your Strength and Vision levels are probably fine right now though, so I'd put the SP into Agility.

What is agility so important for? There is no chance I bring it beyond 61 until I am absolutely set with everything else in his build. I am not convinced anything on agility right now. It would be mid 30's if my team didn't want it a bit higher. Everyone says agility helps some, but no one has really said how it helps.

Also, one more question, how much stamina does a K need?

agility is in the kicking bar, so it must have some affect. i wouldnt rate it as highly as str and vis tho

20 stam should be enough. only in really high scoring games like blowouts will you need more

edit: wait until you have the build mostly finished before worrying about stam

Agility helps with kicking mechanics. I've found that it makes a nice difference in kickoffs and long FGs, compared to builds with low agility and similar stats in other attributes.

Also, look at your build now. Look at how many seasons you have left on the player before plateau/decline. Do you really need the points anywhere else? I'm at the point with my level 52 kicker where I have nowhere left to spend SP without it being almost a waste! I probably won't even boost him this year because of that, can't justify spending 300 flex to spend 4:1 or 5:1 or higher in attributes.

As far as Stamina goes, I'd never spend SP in it. There's plenty of decent training combos with it though, so getting it up to 30 or so isn't difficult and won't hurt your build.

I'm not convinced about Agility. My K has ~37 agility, went 7/8 for 50+ yard FGs last season (missed a 59er), and just got 57.7% touchbacks in a 322-0 blowout today (not counting a few that went for 71 or 72 yards and were still run out). I'm sure Agility doesn't hurt, but I don't think it needs to be as high as Strength does, for sure.

People tend to think that agility is 1st or 2nd cappable.
As opposed to like... having 17 agility
There are attributes that actually make you better the higher they go, and there are some that seem to cease to penalize you once they reach a certain point. I think agility for kickers falls under the latter.

Yeah, I think 1st capped agility will be fine. If I have problems with long Kicks, maybe I will go back and touch it, but for now, I am sticking with 1st capped
