In the Custom D Creator, what happens when you select a player to "Spy Man" an offensive player?

can only spy the QB.

and honestly, it's terrible. the defensive player don't react until the QB crosses the line of scrimmage.

Couldn't disagree more. It worked quite well in my last game.

OK yea it works well for rushing QB's so yes if you are facing a Rushing QB it works well but for anything else it is freaking C.R.A.P.!!

I had little success using LBs and FSs set to spy against much faster running QBs. They all took piss poor angles and was always out of position to make the tackle.


It doesn't take much to stop QB runs in the peewees early in the season.

Also, do you have a special build you could put in at MLB1 for these kinds of spy plays? I know it's only pee wee, but that LB is a 224 pound (future) speed build who backs up LOLB and is in the MLB1 for passing plays to cover a scat back or spy the QB.

Awesome play. They were having a staring contest.

The QB Spy, much like pretty much everything else, can work in the Pee Wees and other lower-levels. But get to AA+ and good luck. The Spy is crap.
