When did you add Clutch? Were you able to see any significant gains from doing so?

After the other 2 I started working on clutch. It helps, but I was raising confidence at the same time, so who knows what it did or what was making the real difference haha.

you'd raise str that high still? i'm debating whether or not to take str or tackling up on my SS. both are gonna be at 60, but its mostly a debate about which goes to 68

This is my theory from some readings but never had any evidence for it. Interesting to see someone else say it impacts playoff performance.

this is what I suggest to any S.S who wants to be a hard hitter.

I'd would do it like this though.

Speed to 68 agility to 68.

then str to 49. then vision to 49. You don't want to completely suck with no vision till like level 40. LOL.

once vision is 49 go back to str to 68. then start on tackling. Vision can stay low for a while, It's not a priority, really, in a hard hitting build. Plus you can make up for low vision with High super vision if you so choose to. If I could do it all again I would have got monster hit up to 13 instead of SV though. Just go all out hard hitter, With 5% force fumble chance +1 monster hit (2 peices) got str up to about 80 or 90 even. But kept speed and agility 90/80 at the very least. Then go all out with power tackler helmet crash, and anything and everything that helps force fumbles.

thanks for the input. I was thinking about doing something like this.

Strong Safeties sure are hard to fill out. Well, a hard hitting one. They need Speed, agility, strength, tackle, vision, stamina, confidence, some jump/catch, and then the SAs. this is a long term project, lol.

the only thing I'm concerned about is I've heard tackle > strength for fumbles....which makes me question which to go for after agility. and agility not being a main attribute = annoying.

You can go for more tackling and cap str, then you could use David and Goliath. Apparently tackling helps a lot to force fumbles.

Or just get both high. I don't know it's hard because you need a lot of speed and agility for momentum first and foremost.

Try Tackling to 68 and leave STR at 61.

I liked str more because it helped him break Offensive linemen blocks like crazy. Or anyone who tried to block him.Plus I'm pretty sure str drains moral and stamina more than tackling. I could be wrong though. STR keeps your own stamina up longer. There is so much more benefits with having higher str.

He would also plow over people on INT returns or fumble recoveries.

It's really all about how you want to be. 68 tackling would be better for forcing fumbles for sure. But 68 STR would be better to get you there, around and through blockers. It's a 2-edged sword really. Maybe you can get them both to 68? It would take a long time though.

Yeah based on my build plan its doable, but wouldn't finish til the mid to late 50s along with sa's. I'm aslo taking vision to 60 pretty early so I suppose if I didn't do that it could def be done

You could always try:

train speed + agility til 1st cap speed
train strength + tackle til 3rd cap speed
train tackle + agility til 2nd cap strength
train agility + vision til 2nd cap tackle
train vision + stamina or confidence or whatver til you triple cap agility
double cap agility, fill out VA, and trai wtvr.

you lose the auto level up gains from the agility, but you do get the tackle + speed ones to get close to triple cap. you can finish that off later.

In the meantime, you can use some equip on agility to keep it at least higher. it's more of a long term project, but it might work.

Could end up with like 74 speed, 68 tackle/strength/agility, 62 vision.

i'm too lazy to try this out in the builder.

meh, so i tried it.

wouldn't get vision up til season 7. maybe if you alternate between agility and vision it would turn out better, but still be til season 7 before you 2nd cap vision and 3rd capped agility...and even then you'd be in the 30s in confidence, stamina, jumping, catching.
