SPurs will be back, Alot of people keep throwing them out because they are old but there big three is still young. Tim Duncan is only 32 while Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli are both in their late twenties. People just want to write them off because they are not entertaining to watch when really this team will be around for some time to come, their role players are old but greg popovich is good at creating new ones or finding gems in free agency that other teams wont touch, Udoka is looking promising here. The mavericks are good but not great and the Bulls have alot of potential.
We would be seeing the Spurs in the Finals but they just had a such a hard road this year. If you could pick between going through Utah and Colorado and going through New Orleans and Phoenix I think your decision is quite clear. After that game seven in NO the spurs never had more then a full day to rest. Really the key to any team is good coaching because that outlasts the player. As long as the Spurs have Greg Popovich they will be a major force. He is the reason they have won so much in the past 10 years.
