Which would be better to use for a DT?

Depends on the type of DT you are building. I am going to assume you are talking about a DT playing the DT position and not the NT poistion. (The NT is clearly a Strong base kind of position).
If you are building a DT for sacks more than run stuffer and pass deflection, then going after Big sack is the way to go. It also would stand to reason that you are higher agility and have some speed over a higher strength build.
If you are looking to plug up the middle and get your sacks when the DEs force the QB to scramble to you then go with Strong Base. Also, if you go with strong base don't forget to get Jumping trained up for diving tackles and deflecting passes.

Thank you, I was wanting to go the pass rush route, but i think i might of messed up my build for that. Give me your thoughts. All with EQ Stregnth is 91 agility 61 and speed 35 i believe.

General rule: Never put points in Big Sack unless your player is actually getting sacks on a regular basis.

Even then, you don't put points into it.

+1 ive had a good year with my guy, 80+ sacks, the times it has fired(not many from the one point in CE) is usually in blowouts and the damage is already done. no need to put any points into it at all. i wouldnt keep a piece i rolled either. why big sack is the last in the tree is beyond me. there is one advantage to it being there.... i means all the others that do work well, are cheaper

Yep. Even if you were to convert your NT to a DT like I did a couple seasons ago, looks like he'd still have too much strength. Don't know your natural strength though.
