No, I have laughatelitistpricksitis. I thought what the doc had prescribed was working. I've stopped chuckling at people who drive Hummers. I can now hold entire conversations with Mac users without cracking up at them. It seemed to be under control.

That's a VERY long-term prospect, I'd think. USAPL will still be the strongest PL for a long time to come - it'll be at least season 13 before teams that chose a league based on WPL's existence could even make the pros. Are season 13's Dominant Pro Teams in Uncapped Minors right now? Or are they in AA/AAA and building to get better? I have no clue.

I suspect USAPL will be pretty clearly the best PL for at least 3-5 more seasons, and that's assuming the World League doesn't implode the whole system.

If taking the top four teams out of USA causes slippage compared to other leagues who will also be losing their top four teams, then perhaps "dominance" doesn't mean what you think it means.

No, if anything, taking the top 4 (and really, its not necessarily even the top 4, just the conference finalists) from every league will increase the dominance of the USAPL.

The USAPL goes 10-12 deep in top 25 teams. Most of these other mediocre Pro leagues go 2-4 deep in USAPL caliber squads.

But since this non-USA philistine has clearly misunderstood what was being said, help me out. Enlighten me as to how this will affect things? Will it just:

* Minimize the recruiting advantage USA Pro has based on brand name alone because now everyone will put "World League only" in their recruiting requests?
* Minimize the advantage USA Pro has in basically hand-picking which scrimmages they want to take to protect/insulate their ranking, like an aging boxer?
* Blow up the heirarchy established in the ranking systems where USA Pro teams are weighted more heavily just because they are in a league named "USA Pro"?

But I gotta say... having never come over to USA Pro forums before, I may have to come back. You guys are hilarious, in the same way Keanu Reeves is hilarious when he tries really really really hard to act.

#2 makes absolutely no sense since most of the top USA Pro teams have been in two tournaments. Heck, ***O*** actually challenged Cobra Kai for Day 40 and...gasp...rejected. I also played the only team that offered us a scimmage this season (Emmaus) after the tourneys were over for us.

#3 also doesn't make sense. There's a hierarchy in the ranking system for a reason, and it's not just because of the name. The league is considerably harder than any of the other Pro leagues. That's not hard to see.

Plus the rankings committee has teams from all over the place who vote our teams near the top.
