Monarchs had a five minute meeting just in time to make a few changes, but they were aimed internally rather than externally.

And like everyone else we probably threw caution to the wind in a few places.

Still Kudos jprietman, I know it hurts you to say that, even if it is a scrimmage game.

Next game we will use to experiment again, but we can only hope for similar results.

I'm testing new settings, to see what we can improve for next season.

If Alpha is aiming to win the scrimmage games... well then good for them? I'm aiming to win next season.

yeah our big thing was to try and get our passing game moving a bit and i think we were successful in that so imma take that as a moral victory for the scorgasms

i dont think any 1's really trying to win. every ones just taking the oppurtunity to go nuts with everything. can u say 100% blitz

Speaking for my team who has won both games so far, I'm still scouting but also messing with alot of different tactics to gain information about our team. However the teams we are facing are the bottom 4 in Zeta. The knight only had 3 wins but we do not have bottom 4 talent.

For the sake of argument... (Coz the offseason Sucks!)

We are all trying to find the right balance and every team is looking at their own teams development only....

But Your Aim Isn't To Win?

We all know thats not entirely true, we are all trying to make our teams better, and that means winning, no?
At the very least it means a strong performance and a close game, against equal opposition?

No one scouts scrimmage games, whats the point everyone is trying something new, the only sure way to lose is probably to scout the opposition!

Unless you mean you are trying to confirm that your team is unable to win playing a certain style?

I did that against Valencia, tried to prove to myself that one specific thing that I wish I had tried earlier wouldnt, work.

Well it did, the team is better for knowing it, and I couldnt say that if our scoreline had been reversed.

I am gutted I didnt do it previously, or try it in Week 15 or 16.

I wish we could have a probowl game, ALPHA Vs ZETA and WEPL Vs some other PRO League on a rolling basis.
