He is on the Knights, and if he is hustling and making plays where his teammates have not, then that is an added reason for an all-star nod. Your logic is flawed.

Actually, I am in a perfect position to do "what if's". The only reason he's making those plays is because no one on the team is making them, that doesn't mean he's an all star, just that he is the best the team has. Anyway, if you had finished my post, you'd notice that I explained exactly why he isn't an All-Star CB. His pass defense skills are par or slightly above par - that's it.

Dude there is no "what if" here I am a Knight and will never be a Viking. What if's are the worst way to try and get your point across because the what if didn't happen. You can say what if David Tyree didn't make the catch, but he did make it so the what if is just pissing into the wind.

What you are saying is that Raekwon is a playmaker and thank you for that (don't deny it you did). Here is the thing you say my pass skills aren't that great because I don't make a lot of picks. That just means I can't catch. Most teams ran against us that is why my pass deflection to tackle ratio is off of what is "ideal". I understand why I was not nominated to the All-Star team. I came in third thats ok I'll take that as me being the nickle for the Alpha conference. But before you start trash talking my player watch some game film especially half way through the season once we had an Active Owner and GM's.

I, hereby, eternally deem this the "Season Two All-Star Controversy". Pardon The Interruption is going to argue this back and forth throughout the offseason. Around The Horn absolutely won't be able to let go of it.

And that would be a perfectly fine reasoning, it's your opinion whether or not he's an all-star. I just don't think the paragraph I quoted brings any added validity to your argument. A team's performance may have some effect on an MVP award, but to use a player's team as a negative for an All-Star nod doesn't make sense to me. I mean, if Raekwon was the only playmaker on defense, wouldn't opposing teams just avoid passing his way? If he has that distinction as the lone playmaker on defense, then his stats are remarkable.

I'm not trying to argue whether or not he deserves a spot on the All-Star team, thats purely opinion. But if players are going to be held accountable for the rest of their team's performance, we might as well just make the Lumberjacks the entire All-Star squad. God forbid a team under .500 ever have a pro bowler.
