I heard they should be within 10 points of each other.

They shouldn't be anything. They "should" be what you like best. Personally I like 100/70 which is 30 points apart. working up to 110/80 now.

no such thing as rules. I like 85speed/90 agility with around 75+ vision, but find out what works best for your CB and then stick to it.

Probably depends some on how much change directions you have since that makes a big difference...
My 100/80 CB with no CD can't make the cuts that the a quick WR makes while my 100/90 CB with 6 CD seems to make them so fast that he often is standing around waiting for the pass to arrive (playing against AA receivers anyway)...

You need to aim for at least 80 agility and 80 speed. What you do afterward is up to you. edit...... Another thing to keep in mind is, you can have all the speed in the world, but you'll never attain that speed if agility isn't in the same ball park

i like that answer. 80/80 should be the floor; you decide about the ceiling yourself.

150/150
plus 150 tackling and 150 strength
at least 150 vision and 150 catching
somewhere around 150 stamina
don't forget 150 jumping.

I am a Level 57 CB that recently tweaked my build a bit. For the past 2 seasons, I have had my speed at 105 and my agility at 70. I was very good, but far from a playmaker. So I decided to change some equipment around to make my speed 93 and agility 80 to see what that does.
My question, is the drop in speed still good enough to cover a fast WR?
Once next season starts I will have a total of 20 sp to disperse anywhere. The plan right now is to pump sp into First Step after vision is at 68. I figured to cover a faster WR, First Step would be very beneficial for my current speed. Build is as follows....
Strength - 48.5
Speed - 93.5
Agility - 80.1
Jumping - 58
Stamina - 49
Vision - 65.5
Confidence - 43
Tackling - 50
Catching - 53
SPECIAL ABILITIES
Swat Ball - 5
Sticky Hands - 5
Super Vision - 7
Smooth Operator - 3
Shutdown - 5
First Step - 2
Change Direction - 2
VETERAN ABILITIES
Ball Hawk - 15
Track Star - 15
Long Reach - 15

FS isn't very good. You should cap vision, cap agility at 68 if it isn't already there, and start working SV and SDC up.

Vision needs to be 68+ asap.
