I bought a Blitz AEQ +2 agility. But does this SA really work for DE? Or is it a DB-only SA?

First step is way better than blitz.

If you have to settle on an A.E. in first step then get it up to 13 or 14 with the A.E.

You either want Shed Blocks or Tunnel vision.

Let's be honest it's pretty hard trying to get bonus tokens for two pieces to make blitz worthwhile.

I would rather have one of my first 4 pass rusher s.a's over 12. If it isn't shed blocks or T.V. First step is my first (3rd) choice.

it's not too hard to get enough BTs to fully upgrade 2 aeq

if you can get the BT and get 2 blitz pieces, would you still rather go with FS?

I have 2 blitz pieces and I think I can catch up with BT in the mid 40s (lvl 31 now). I have one equipped now. I was thinking it would be better to have a blitz at 8 at that point and use my SPs on shed block and TV, so I could have 3 good SAs in the 8-10 range. Would it better to get a SB or TV piece to save SPs for other stuff or have blitz, SB and TV in the 8-10 range?

It's worth more to use your bonus tokens to get a shed blocks piece, and a tunnel vision piece fully upgraded. Then you would have shed blocks and tunnel vision both at 14. Or you can have blitz at 8.

I wasn't sure if the diminishing returns above 10 for SB and TV would be worse than a Blitz at 8 or 10, and also having an "always on" SA like blitz. Lvl 31 is the highest player for me so far. Thanks.

I have 2 pieces of FS on one DT. I love it.

I have 1 piece of blitz on another DT. I love it as well.

I don't believe an SA has to be at 7 or 8 to be great.

Also what is wrong with having

10 FS, 10 TV, 8 blitz (if you have 2) vs. 14 FS and 14 TV?

Blitz is basically TV that is always on when other team is passing.

granted his build gets him pancaked a lot, on the plays where he has a clear shot around the OT, he doesnt seem to move any faster with blitz than without. i'd rather have a block shedding build with aeq in break block %

7 Blitz on Mechazawa has been fairly successful (no, not counting the 37 sack game he just posted on a cpu OT). Still has room for improvement though (2nd capping vision, pushing TV/SB to 10 base). I still think having 2 Blitz pieces on a speed DE is a worthwhile investment.

maybe you dont see good returns from blitz because agility is too low. more agility and quick instead of power tackler might make him beastly.

i was wondering though about that. the power tackler, is maybe because of ST plays. was just looking at where his FF came from.

i still agree with more agility though. can you ever have enough??

All my level 39 D.E. has is agility and quick, That makes any D.E. beastly.
