has anyone tried to build a tall TE with very high jumping and catching? no blocker, no receiver per se, but a threat to catch that jump ball in the endzone from a few yards out?

i'm entertaining the thougth of building one.

I'm kind of trying it. 51 Jumping, I've had to train it and add points into it. It works if they actually throw you the ball. For half a season I had Highlight Reel Player VA. The 51 Jumping would work a lot more if it wasn't for KLs though.

dude, go ahead and take catching to 68 but definitely hold off on jumping until at least level 30. since its not a major or minor skills, your gonna lose out on natural SP gains, choose vision, strength, speed or agility next, but def wait on jumping

Yeah, that was my original plan, but it doesn't work too well. Tried to make an endzone threat, but the ball never comes my way, so it is kinda pointless.

you have to be patient with recieving TEs, I feel like mine is finally becoming a factor and it's at lvl 42.

There's so many atts you need to pay attention to I'd wait to put to much into to jumping but I think it does help overall

Heres my level 42 receiving te. He had 4 catches stripped last game against skilled lbs.

What will help prevent his catches from being knocked loose?

Im thinking strength and catching prob? or

maybe a tad more sticky hands? my te is level 42 as well. Help Requested.
