I know the Quick In (WR short shotgun) does not have a TE route by default, but if you tell the TE to run a route, he will. This is the only such play (it's the only play that doesn't have a TE route by default).

Does anybody know if some other plays that don't have an HB route by default can be forced to have the HB run a route somehow?

The diagram is wrong. There are about half a dozen plays that aren't drawn correctly.
