I have to make a choice between +5% break tackle percentage, +3 Catching and +5% catching, 1 stiff arm, and 1 route run AEQ.
I began building him as a tackle breaking receiver prior to the VA changes and now have to make a new decision on his fate. He's the back up and sees more time as a run blocker and receiver on FB pass plays. He's been a solid utility guy for the offense.
He is 3 cap str and 4 cap speed. Only 2 cap agi and 1 cap carrying.
I like the 5% break tackle, but the stiff arm seems like a nice compliment considering how the TE's have to deal with defenders after the catch. I could change some gear around a make him a fast receiver (3 catching and 5% catch), but he's got a lot of SP's already invested in strength that wouldn't be really utilized and it could hurt his blocking ability without the agility, etc.. Is it too good to pass up. I don't expect him to be burning any serious DB's/lb's with only 90ish speed.
Has route run really influenced anyone's TE? 1 one handed catch is also a possibility, but not one I am seriously considering.
