Tackling - doesn't effect your pass rush but you still better be able to tackle
Confidence

I would throw Jumping in there too as pretty important

No it's definitely

STR
Vision
tackling
confidence.

after speed and agility, str helps you more than anything else while blitzing. Vision helps a lot as well, but it can be capped now then worked on some more later.

Tackling increases your radius. Plus even jumping helps tremendously for diving sacks.

then confidence helps a little to keep you positive.

I think:

Vision
Strength
First Step/Change Direction

I'd put vision first, but I've seen way too many LBs not cap strength and get pancaked every single time. You don't need a huge amount of strength, and there's not too much reason to pump a huge amount of strength (its very hard to be fast enough to reach the QB, and have enough strength to bullrush FBs)

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I'll cap strength next then vision.

ive heard a lot of conflicting things about confidence. i've heard from some reputable sources that high glare/trash talk with hihg confidence is killer. qb ratings plummet

edit: it makes sense that this is done later on in a build, once a pass rusher has established himself.
