The stats that actually matter:
(With gear of course)
Strength - 22
Speed - 97
Agility - 75
Stamina - 24
Vision - 24
Confidence - 25
Carrying - 27

Currently my VA's are in Track Star, but I will reset in the offseason and move to Quick Feet.

Here's the calculated plan - Speed and Agility will be 78.27 naturally at level 32. I'll spend all my Skill Points on Agility until it gets to that point. Then, my goal is Intense Train Carrying/Conf and hold SP's until ready for 3:1 cap Carrying. After that, training Stamina/Conf until they are around 40 a piece. Then work on strength until it is reasonable to avoid fumbles. And of course working SA's in between. Perhaps I will move around the order of my plan to put more priority on SA's.

Here's where I need advice though: Allotting my equipment. I have calculated that at lvl 48 I could have 115 Speed and 80 agility, but I'm unsure how balanced to make the two. Would it be more beneficial to have extremely high agility? My thinking is that this will help with activating Juke/Spin/Head Fake, although it would be really nice to simply outrun everybody too. How should I spread around my equipment benefits? Thanks in advance everyone

Look like a WR build. Speed is important, but you need to train strength (a lot) and vision a bit too ( not as much). You are going to get killed on fumbles with this build as you move higher if you don't train strength and carrying.

I will have Strength at the first cap and Carrying at the 3:1 cap before anything else. Did you have any advice on how balanced my speed/agility should be?

Hey, he had a very good question... Why should he be called a fool? This forum is for asking questions and getting help on your HB. Why should someone be put down for using the forum?

what's funny is, that's not necessarily great advice.

haha, i was just kidding around!

but, it seems that he's building an elusive back.
so i feel that vision and carrying would be important.

Howis that not great advice? He's a fumbling machine that can't run on super elusive because he can't see 5 yeards ahead.

To the OP: I'm not gonna do the math because I don't know where your equip is right now, but if you want 2 stats to 78 naturally that's gonna take... well a long ass time. Make sure you're gonna have at least a season or two to shine. My worry would be that it won't until youre 10th season that your build is roudned enough to make the 78/78 effective. For your equip, I'd go 110/90 or higher numbers with the same ratio.

+1

Iv got a lvl 34 that I have taken the same route. I have not put a single point in carrying or strength. Result: 2 fumbles this season 4 in my career.

I can see if becoming a problem MAYBE next season, but probably not until I atleast hit lvl 40.

i'm saying he should put points into carrying not for the fumbling aspect, but to help the ability of being able to make quick cuts, to avoid being tackled.

He will be at 77/77 once I reach level 32. They will be 80/80 from natural gains once I am level 48. I am currently training Carrying/Strength in hopes to get Carrying to 60 and Strength to 48 which should negate future fumbling problems. Then it's on to training Stamina and Vision.

One of my friend's Elusive HB's has had a fairly successful career so far and he only has 30 vision (He's currently in AAA). I don't see a lot of evidence that says I need to train it right now, so I'm going to train it last.

Thanks for the advice on the equipment. 110/90 is what I was thinking too. Hopefully that will be enough agility to activate Spin/ Juke/ Head Fake a lot.

My HB has been extremely successful so far but I am truly building him for a future in the Pro's. Any more advice would be appreciated by anyone with experience. Thanks to everyone so far.

Speed and Agility is already there, I'd say next season since you're moving into the realm of the Veteran Abilities I'd suggest that you take Carrying/Confidence to 1st cap. There's a ton of line backers that will tackle you wearing either that fearsome Helmet Crash that lowers your in-game morale OR power tackling that will lead to fumbles. Taking carrying to 1st cap or at least 50 will help your HB at the same time you can avail of the Bruiser VA. And since you'll capping Confidence then your in-game morale won't take a hit because of not fumbling a lot and you can take those hits after hits after hits.

I hope this helps.

Sounds like a good idea. I am currently Intense training Carrying/Confidence hoping to get them to a respectable amount. It is so hard as a HB to be well rounded early in a career. I just can't wait to see what happens when it all fills out

You should invest 4-6 into cover up imo.
