first step only works when you're stopped or very close to it. It's better for getting a WR off the line of scrimmage but not when you're running and trying to juke/spin.

Maybe. You need high juke too. 1 fake and 1 juke, or 2 fake and spend SP to raise juke. I'd probably go with 2 fake.

That's what I'd do. Max 'em out. Even though fake was nerfed it's still an effective bonus.
