It's a Superior Visor, with +2 AGI, and +1 Closing Speed. It's replacing my +1 Blitz piece, which I was told helps every play, since DEs blitz just about every play.

What I guess I'm asking is, does Closing Speed help my DE? Or is it only for that "Last man on defense"?

Not too effective from what I remember in past posts.

Closing Speed won't help you when the QB is in the pocket.. he isn't considered a "ball carrier" so it doesn't activate... I'd keep shopping..

blitz is definitely better.

Superior vision & Closing speed may help if you play a lot of special teams coverage units.
