This is pretty good, obviously don't spend any SAs until you're at least in your 30s

Write-up #18: FS

1. Speed to 68-cap while intense training agility/vision
2. Agility to 68-cap while intense training vision/confidence
3. Vision to 60-cap while intense training strength/tackling
4. Confidence to 48-cap while intense training strength/tackling
5. Tackling to 48-cap while intense training strength/jumping
6. Strength to 48-cap while intense training jumping/catching
7. Put SP in SAs: Change Direction, Swat Ball, Super Vision

All equipment in speed.

Seems silly to get agility up before vision because of major/minor level gains. Same with confidence ahead of tackling

Don't forget about stamina and jumping

Yea, at the start of next season my SS will be 36 before i boost 3 times and at that point i'll only have spd/agi/vis 3capped (higher with natural gains), and strength/tackling at 49. Am double training stamina/jumping right now. Might spend some SPs on SAs while waiting for stamina/jumping to reach about 30. At this point, i'm not gonna get much advantage (maybe like 1-2sp which doesn't matter) from capping jumping stamina super quick. So while waiting for those to get to 30 with training, i'll probably spend some time on SAs. Although, it sucks it'll be so long till i can get confidence up. I wish there were more good things to intense train confidence with since stamina will be mostly set.

I think this build guide is designed around intense training and getting the most out of it. By the time you get to the 4th stage most players will be on teams where their defensive co-coordinators will be making suggestions as to what they want from your player. Confidence is one of those great unknowns and most players (myself included) tend to neglect it, but I think I'll give it a go this time on my safety.

My S.S. agrees with confidence.

Uh oh...I've been bumping strength before tackling, is that bad?
Also what do you think of +3 vision +3% intercept chance (before tokens) as advanced EQ?

Not bad at all.

and probably could be better, but it's not bad at all.

I wouldn't do intercept chance %. Unless you also have high sticky hands and catching. Otherwise your doign the equivalent of increasing the size of a pea by 3%. Hardly noticeable.

Personally I'd say strength is more important for linebackers than safeties but having said that if you can get it to 50 you can start investing in Jack Hammer which is pretty awesome.
Anytime you can get +3 (relevant) attribute boost any % bonus is just an icing on the cake, I'd get it until you roll something better.

Get strength to 50 then invest in some Jackhammer. Might be the best decision you ever make.

Okay I'll continue with strength for now...maybe train catching a little. Having a piece of equipment with +8 vision at 34 is pretty sweet.
