I am trying to understand Defenses and such and came across this sack against my team. I really want to know how the hell you get CB#4 to line up playing mid field. Any D I created will not allow CBs inside the TE. This CB lines up dead center and would be great to spy the HB and if not drop into coverage but this is not an option. How did they do this??

CB4 is set to cover man on the HB (not cover man without move), so he lines up over the HB. It won't show up on the DPC, but he will be there in the actual game.

Thanks, I thought of that but I didnt think that was the case being that after 2 ticks the guy turns in coverage of the TE. I guess he just has that good of vision??

Perhaps main coverage on the HB, second choice on the TE... he would line up over the HB but move to the TE if the HB stayed in to block

The hb is pass blocking so the cb covers his next assignment or maybe is set for zone

or that CB could have been set to cover a FB and without one on the field he just lines up in the middle and plays zone
