My LB just hit 25, and its my first player to 25 (and VAs)

He's been starting as an MLB for the last 2 seasons, his build was kind of nerfed as he was my first player and I chucked a couple into SAs early, but I rescued the build before it became (imo) completely screwed. Here it is:

Strength:
32.61
Blocking:
15.75
Speed:
74.75 (62.75)
Tackling:
37.61
Agility:
79.61 (71.61)
Jumping:
15.75
Catching:
15.75
Stamina:
20.61
Vision:
20.61
Confidence:
20.61
Hard Hit SAs
2-2-1-1-1
Pass Rush SAs (From CE)
1-1-1-1-1
Other SAs (From AEQ... obviously)
First Step(2)

He's got 2 VT points to spend, where do you recomment they go?. I will be finishing the 3:1 on SPD and then unsure where to go next (TCK, VIS or STR). Is he better suited as an MLB or ROLB?

Thanks, much appreciated!

Thats not a MLB, and MLB has good Str Tck
for now hes a ROLB and after speed gets to 68 you need 48 tackling and strength (in that order)

for VAs now I'd probably put em in sure tackler

I disagree.
That build is well on its way to being a good MLB if you want it to be.
I'd get speed up to 68 and keep putting equipment into agility for the rest of your career.
After that work on strength to 60, then tackling to 60, then 68/68.
It'll take a while.
Train up your stamina/confidence and jumping/vision to 33/33 in the meantime. Consider capping single or double vision later as well.

Personally I think SAs from both trees for any type of LB are garbage. Shed block is okay but I don't like it enough to max it and that's what you should do with an SA. My advice there would be to leave them alone for the rest of your career, or at least until your mid 40s when attributes are taken care of for the most part.

For VAs if you want to be MLB you should invest in things like Brick Wall, David Vs Goliath, Power Tackler, Sure Tackler (if you really need it).

I tried not to listen to people when I made my MLB. I did what I wanted my Linebacker to be: getting the BALL out of people's hands.

By the time I was 48, I nearly double capped Strength, Tackling, Agility, and Speed. Soft capped Vision, Confidence, and Stamina. Maybe some points in jumping, its up to you.

I did SA's early though, as of right now I have 3-3-7-9-5 with 3 Closing Speed.

As for VA's, my speciality is clearly outlined. I'm not saying i'm good at it, but my player tries his hardest:
Long Reach 5, Power Tackler 15, Sure Tackler 5, 3rd Down Stopper 5, MS 1

For the next 10-15 levels I would only offer you a ROLB contract based on that build.
Until strength tackling is at least 50/50 your player should only really be used on blitz packages and special teams simply because you're a liability against the run. Having said that all that, he would make a very nice pass rusher.
The only other thing I'd add is your vision is dangerously low, might not be a bad idea to forget about speed for now and focus on your other 3 areas.

As far as your VAs are concerned, I'd invest in power tackler/sure tackler until you're at least level 40. Definitely don't spend any more points in the SA trees.

With 20 vis you cant really play anything. ROLB.

Do daily training on vision until he's up to 33-36 vision, and then cap it. Vision is very important.
