Playoff predictions by our Top Three Analysts: BrickHouse, Twilightbeckoned and PackMan97

So I promised you guys a little something for the playoffs and well I was going to post this before the playoffs but I had some “reality issues”. But its all good now and I am good to go . Enough about my boring life, lets talk about the playoffs.

The 9 Enquirer chose 3 analysts who were believed to be perfect candidates for this upcoming playoffs. They were owners that were active in the forums as well as a neutral team.

Here’s what BrickHouse had to say.

Hollywood Stars over KC Wiz
Elite Sea Team over South Texas Thunder
Austin BFFs over Omaha Shockers
Honolulu Warriors over Houston Outlaws

ATCT over St. Louis Beer Barons
Montpelier Morticians over Miami Carniceros
Indianapolis Gangsters over Radio City Irrelevant
NY Doom over Charlotte Clamjousters

Champion: Indianapolis Gangsters

Just a couple random thoughts about the West since we haven't played any of the Eastern teams in the playoffs.

KC doesn't have the offense in my opinion to get pass Hollywood, might be a close game, but I don't see KC scoring more than 13.

I don't think South Texas has the depth to stay with the best teams for an entire game. Their starters are all high leveled, but being as their owner owns all players and has some CPU backups, I see that putting Elite Sea Team over the top.

0-0 tie last time between these two. Austin arguably has the best RB in the East and I think they'll be able to put some up some points this time around. Also one of if not the best defense in the East.

Honolulu is probably the most talented team on paper in the East and that combined with the struggles of Houston down the stretch doesn't give me much reason to believe they'll be able to pull this one out.

Twilightbeckoned

West:
Hollywood over KC
Omaha over Austin
Honolulu over Houstin
South Texas over The Elite

East:
Alabama over St. Louis
Indy over Radio City
Charlotte over New York
Miami over Montpelier

PackMan97

West:
Stars level the Wiz - not much to say
Elite Sea drowns the Thunder - This is the 4-5 upset special.
BFF's avoid the Shockers - Yes, there are points scored, lots of them.
Warriors stomp the Outlaws - They'd lose this if they were still the Rainbows

East:
The Tide toast the Beer Barons - The Barons can't stop speed a second time.
Carniceros bury the Morticians - Another 4-5 Upset Special
Gangsters shoot out the Irrelvants - Highest combined point total of the day.
Doom bake some Clams - Free beer to the Doom owner if they win by 30!

So how did our analysts do?

BrickHouse 6-2 ----- 1

Twilightbeckoned 4-4 ----- 3

PackMan97 5-3 ----- 2

Congrats to BrickHouse for our first game of playoffs, in the end all the final scores will be tallied up and whoever has the lowest rank, that person will win the PREDICTOR CUP of the season (please keep it nice, it will be a rotating trophy).

Thanks for reading, and I’ll get some interviews with the analysts as well as a couple of other things. Its going to be a good summer.

Thank MagiK. I had to throw you some love in the beginning of the pod because of all the hard work you put in for the league. I love the stuff you do and I'm going to try not to cover the same stuff as you, unless I can get you on the show!!!

We should try a test run, if you have skype that would be fantastic. What do you think?

MagiK and Vawn. Has a nice ring to it, lol!

I take my comment back about South Texas' depth. I didn't realize they had 45 different Tejas'

Well, they do still have this guy on their roster.... http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=235118

He's a "Tight End" no less.... guess there arent any "loose ends" position wise. That sounds homo no matter how you look at it.

No wonder he performs so well...no one really wants to tackle him.
