The Melborne Goodfellas (http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4817) are a Season 4 expansion team now in it's 7th season. We have never had a losing season and have only missed the playoffs once - and that was upon promotion to AAA when we lost a 3-way tiebreaker. Our team's overall regular season record is 77-25 for a .755 winning percentage. We have had the same ownership/management since the team was created and of course have a completed stadium to finance equipment upgrades.
We have made the adjustments necessary to compete in AAA. We are 5-1 this season and 5-0 in our conference so far. We are looking to make a serious run at the Pros for Season 11 and are recruiting for a couple of key pieces for a Championship run. Historically we have stayed loyal to players and agents who are loyal to us.....we still have TWENTY ONE players from our original Season 4 team! As great as that is (and a testiment to the stability of our team), it only puts these players in the level 51-53 range and we are battling competition in the 57+ level range, so eventually you either upgrade or you don't compete.
I am the agent for our existing QB. He's been very productive and we have no complaints, but the fact is that at level 51 he is 6+ levels below the rest, and we feel we have the right stuff for a run to Oceania Pro League and thing a 2-QB system will do the trick.
Like any organized team, we post offensive and defensive tactics before each game. Our entire team has their level 48 equipment paid for, and level 56 gear is coming 2 pieces at a time to allow for the entire team access to some equipment when they reach that level.
