This is my lvl 23 power back getting FF'd by this defender ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1437949 ) -- a good 6 levels lower than him. My power back is 81STR, 63CAR but CON is only 20.. obviously I haven't gotten to it yet as im still trying to 3:1 Carrying before speed and then agi.

My question is how the hell does a Power Back with those fumble-prevention stats, (including +3 to cover up and +1 to all in PowerBack tree from AEQ and CE) fumble when tackled by a defender so much lower than he? Granted, it was an NT, but still.. It happened in the previous game once as well.

I would guess his strenght is as high or higher than yours. So it's not that crazy that you fumbled. From what I understand confidence affects you after you have fumbled once, causing your moral to go down more and causing the possiblities of more fumbles. The sim is just a matter of 2 possibliites happening and then a % roll occurs and then the out come. So even if there is a .001% chance of something happening it will happen every once in a while. I'm no expert, but that would be my take on it. I would worry about conf after your get carrying, speed, agility, and vision up. jmo.

also effects how well your player reacts to being tackled when trying to break a tackle, how well he reacts to being stopped, how well he reacts to being hit by a moster tackle... even if he doesn't fumble before hand a lot can go on to demoralize a player before that point.

That all sounds about right, but on the list of things I would worry about as a lvl 23 powerback conf would be 4th behind speed, agility, and vision. I could see an argunment for conf>vision so maybe 3rd.

for a powerback confidence should always be more than vision tbh. or at least on par.

Man I feel so dumb for saying this but what does tbh mean. I keep trying to figure it out and I guess I'm just not that smart. Bugs mods eh? I have a lvl 17 powerback who's next move after speed/agility was going to be vision. Do I have it all wrong. Tell me what you think? http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1273801

i was told confidence helps greatly on all the 1-3 yd rushes your powerback will be doing. gettin tackled over and over and over for just a couple yds will kill him unless his confidence is up. atleast this is what i've read.

as a power back you want to run guys over....sure a little vision is great to side step the occasional defender but i think confidence definitley needs to come before vision.....

tbh is 'to be honest'
