It's only acceptable to those who don't care. If a person is a true friend they would never allow a friend to get behind the wheel drunk. How many deaths/accidents have to happen before its not acceptable socially? I will be the first to admit that I get drunk off my ass more then not. But even intoxicated I will call a friend or have a DD. Last resort I call a Taxi and pay the $40 cab fee to my house. I keep a card with a list of about 6 different taxi services on me at all times. Once people decide enough is enough, we will finally be able to cut down on this crap. It's one of the many statistics that we should not be proud of or accept.

Same with all drugs. I have worked with addicts, their biggest problems are caused not by the drugs, but by the drugs being illegal.

Strongly disagree. Even if you made meth "legal" you're still going to have the problem of how these people are going to pay for their "legal" meth.


They're obviously not going to hold a job and still tweek out. Therefore you're still going to have the problems that go along with drug use such as prostitution, burglaries, theft, etc.

I couldn't really care less if some of these fools ruin themselves on dope because that's on them. But the minute they start fucking with the rest of society in order to get their fix is where I have the problem.
