OK, this is my first shot at GLB, and I decided to build a strong safety. Maybe I shoulda picked something easier!

I'm hoping that you guys can help me sort through the attributes. The weird thing is that agility, which is suggested as a top attribute to cap, is not a major attribute so the leveling bonus is less than something like tackling.

At the moment I'm about to 1st cap speed and need to know where to go from there. My thinking so far has been to follow the speed->agility->vision path, but I guess that speed->vision->strenth->tackling would make more sense from a leveling bonus point of view.

The problem is that my agility number would consequently be very low in relation to those major attributes until a few seasons down the road when I can come around to that.

Suggestions or thoughts? Many thanks!!

speed 1-2-3 (4 if you like)
vision 1-2 (3 if you like)
agility 1-2-3 (4 if you like) - got to do agility, otherwise you'd wait forever to see this guy come to life
strength 1-2 (3 if you like) / tackling 1-2 / stamina 1

You're very right, long term you're best off leaving agl alone untill you're ready to be a starter, spd/vis/str/tkl should all get attention first depending on what kind of SS you're trying to build.

The best is if you can find a good team to play back up for the first 3 or so seasons with the understanding that you're SS will be a monster/starter once you get to the point you can raise agl. That way you get the PT, without hurting you're team too much, and don't have to compromise by giving agl the love it needs at the expense of another att that will benifit more from early capping.

Btw, if this is your first GLB experience, you've already figured out more than a lot of vet players.

i waited until recently to really focus on agility, and haven't had too many problems leveling. i really focused on tackling and speed first, and then started to focus a little more on strength. i'm not trying to get my agility (and peripherals - vision, confidence, jumping, etc) up to speed. really, the tough thing about it is trying to keep your guy balanced - but my recommendation (and i am by no means a veteran player) is go to spend most of your time on speed and tackling in the early stages (levels 1-10).

don't make the mistake of going after your special abilities tree! you won't even see it come to use until you get above level 20
