I'm looknig for a progression for my DT. He needs to be a rush stuffer and control the line. What would you cap first and in what order (e.g. strength, agility, strength, speed)?

Strength all the way up to the 5:1
Agility up to the 4:1
Vision up to the 3:1
Confidence up to the 3:1
Stamina up to the 2:1
Speed up to the 2:1
Tackling up to the 2:1
SAs

I should go with Tackling after agility, beacause it gets the highest levelup bonus.

Which SA's are best you think?

Blocking is an automatically upgraded secondary skill for DTs. How important is it, do you all think??

I'd go strength, agility, strength to 3rd, agility to 3rd. It's way to inefficient imo to take something to the 4th cap first.

depends entirely on the end goal.

let's see...I guess it depends on the decimal, but i usually spend about 20 SP getting to the first cap, from 69 to 74 would be 20. so I suppose the math doesn't really back me up in this case. Although I'm still not a fan of getting to the fourth cap that way. I'd rather let level gains do some of the work, since I'm not really in the "take one attribute really really high and let everything else suffer" camp.

let's see, 15 levels to get 1st att. to 74, 13 to get second to 68, 13 to get third to 68, so we've got level 41...we'll say 7 levels to soft cap two secondaries so level 48. level 48 before you can start spending in SAs, versus starting 4 levels earlier. so are those 5 points in strength/agi worth having 9 in shed blocks at level 48, or can you wait until level 52.

maybe I'm just impatient..

Atleast the advantage to slow-building a DT is that there are so many bad DTs out there that a DT getting 0 stats isn't anything unusual. So you can slow-build without complaints from the team.
