I think Spin is a fake move... because you're going one way and then put the breaks on then turn (spin) the other way.

It shows as a broken tackle in the replays, but the chance to succeed is affected by +Fake % gear.

I'm kind of under the impression that if the HB gets that spin roll, it's gonna happen regardless. Maybe not, but it seems more important that the HB gets that roll than whatever defender attributes are

It seems that way only because failed/opposed Spins don't show in the PbP description.
