Is it better to have supperior equipement that you have to use bonus chips to upgrade with money or is it better to have basic equipement where you just need a lot of money? I have both and don't know which is better.

Usually I take all my bonus chips to poker stars.com and ask this question there.

If you always save your Bonus tokens and can Support 2 fully upgraded pieces you would want to use AE. It really depends on the pieces though.
AE is > basic but not if you have level 48 basic gear vs. An AE piece upgraded once.
You only want 1 or 2(if you can support it with BT) pieces of AE. You do not want 4 pieces of AE. AE is only benificial with the upgrades.
