How important is it to have 70+ agility for a SS?

Important, especially when you get to AA and higher, but agility can be worked on AFTER the major attributes are taken care of.

What would be the major attributes besides vision?

It's all in there. Just don't go nuts on stamina (one of the major attributes) because you only really need mid 40s in it and then any more is a waste.

You want 100 speed and 80 agility.
Agility also helps you do a lot more things that just accelerate and change direction. It also helps you tackle, not get juked or slipped.

For a SS, I tend to disagree with most other people. I feel 100+ speed is completely unnecessary. I have around 82 speed and 64 agility. Against equal and slightly better competition, he has been dominant. He's more of a run stopper. In high number WR sets, we pull the SS and put in more CBs or put the SS against WRs lower on the depth chart. I've balanced out more of his stats. Capped jumping, catching, second capped tackling, good strength. And the SS SAs are the best for any position. Growl is the only SA I don't like on the tree. But Big Hit and Monster Hit are well worth putting points into. Closing Speed and Superior Vision are amazing too.

If your agility is only 64, speed only 82, even with 60 tackling where are the rest of your SP? Disappear?

he prolly has 10 in all his s.a's.
His S.S. is ok. He says it's dominate. It's far from dominate. I looked over a bunch of his replays. I see his play is suffering a lot because of his low speed and agility at times. I can only imagine he has high closing speed to make up for it.
You can see his S.S. gets blocked a lot and doesn't take a good path to the defender. Sometimes he doesn't even take a path at all because he makes too many decisions and can't make up time with such low agility.
Like I said he ain't bad, but he isn't dominate either. they play some kind of weird ass defense where the S.S. drops into cover 1?? and on like 3rd and 2 they are in a deep deep cover 2. laughable.

Which season are you looking at UnderDogs? Because past few seasons, he had been dominant. This season he is on a new team and his teammates are much better, leaving him with less opportunities. Superior Vision is high, that I admit. He was also not slow built, as it was not the rage at the time when I started him as it is these days. I'm working on a SS to be built like him, but slightly slow building him so he gains more.

I find myself agreeing with Underdogs everywhere I go on this forum, lolz. 82 speed and 64 agility will get you eaten ALIVE in the higher levels as a DB.

To reiderate, it's VERY important to have 70-plus (preferably closer to 80), but not the first thing you should focus on due to it not being a major attribute as shown in that guide I linked.
