nike he said the lower the average score the more competitive the league so since we have the lowest average it means that we are the most competitive and dont have 1 team blowing everyone out 118-0 like some of the other leagues.

where did he say that? it looks to me like he is saying the opposite.

anyway, for reasons i posted on that thread, i think the interleague ranking is meaningless. But the ranking within leagues is pretty damn good.

ya you cant really say our teams are better than their teams without any basis to go off of.

I would be willing to bet that your victory over New Brunswick was a HUGE factor in that.

We somehow ranked above the Strikers, a team that beat us, so I doubt it is that uncommon.

Our Special Teams seems to have KILLED us in those rankings too

pretty sure that it has nothing to do with head to head matches, just offensive, defensive, and special teams stats.

yup all by stats. Take special teams for instance. FGs count but so do any TDs gotten from PRs/KRs. Take us for example not only did we have our fair share of FGs like all other teams we also had 5 KRs/PRs for TDs. So our special team rank got raised. Our defense only allowed so many points during the whole season so we got a high rank while our offense churned out alot. Wins and losses didnt take into account because we are ranked #5 in all of the BBBs but we took losses to NB and lima. Its just for fun anyways

Yeah, anything like this has to be based on something, and stats are it. New Hampshire really wasn't a stat machine anywhere. We don't really have anyone who dominates, game in and game out. We got blown out a couple times, and, even when we win, its usually not by a lot with our game plan. We didn't even run it up on the Jersey Boys.

So its not really a surprise that we're right out in the middle, much lower than some of the teams we beat, and nowhere close to teams we lost to but played close.

The rankings are still interesting stuff.

definitely too much time on that dudes hands, but an awesome product-- nike is right though that the interleague rankings dont mean much because there is no interleague play. so if you were destroying all the high school football teams in your area it doesnt mean you would be able to win a game in the nfl. hopefully none of the leagues have that much difference though, so maybe they are pretty close. they need to allow interleague scrimmages-- that would be cool

There's been talk of allowing friendlies for a FP cost. That'd be cool...
