Can anyone give me some advice on building the individual positions for the 3-4? This is my first time building a LB. I've read the first 3-4 pages of this forum and there is a lot of info and a lot of disagreement on what seems to be the way to go.

The only thing that seems to be the standard thought is to cap agility first for any linebacker spot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In a 3-4 you need your linebackers to all have a lot of speed.

Your linemen should be very strong and agile, so they can take up space and fill holes as they open.

Your linebacker assignments will vary. I would alternate caps on agility and speed till they both his 68....after which cap str, then cap vision and tackling, then go back to str to 61 and tackling vision to 61.

All your linebackers should look close, but not exactly a like.

ROLB I would go more speed and vision. High agility. Possibly look for some of the better pass rusher s.a's.

The inside linebackers go more str

LOLB make more like a corner back.

Up front you want all of the builds to have a healthy amount of str, and a lot of agility. They could probably get away with being a little slow. 65- 70ish

I would probably cap strength before triple capping speed for a 3-4 ILB.
